The principal of Bass Solicitors is Connor Bass
Connor qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand in 1997 after having gained a BA from Auckland University and an LLB (Hons) Degree from Waikato University. He worked for 3 years in a general practice in New Zealand before moving to Ireland in 2000. In January 2001 he joined William Fry Solicitors in Dublin – one of Ireland’s leading commercial law firms – and was admitted to the Irish Roll of Solicitors in 2003. As an associate at William Fry he specialized in all aspects of commercial litigation including product liability, landlord and tenant and property litigation, contract disputes, negligence and general commercial disputes.
This commercial litigation experience allows Bass Solicitors to offer a new dimension to the services available in Kilkenny. Connor has been involved in a number of large commercial disputes before the High Court and Supreme Court as well as resolving a number of commercial property disputes for the benefit of his clients. He also has the advantage of having dealt with most of the larger legal firms in Ireland and a number of overseas firms. In New Zealand Connor practiced in a small firm dealing with mainly private clients in the area of criminal law, family law, conveyancing, employment law and landlord and tenant issues. This provides him with a good background of interacting with both individual clients and commercial organisations and providing solutions to whatever legal problems arise.
